Waxing
Q. How long does the hair have to be?
A. We usually tell our clients to try to come in, with at least 2 weeks of re growth.

Q. What do I need to do to prepare for my wax?
A. Be sure the hair is long enough, if you'd like take a pain reliever 1 hour prior to appointment.  We also carry a product for retail to help alleviate some of the discomfort that should be purchased and applied before appointment.

Q. What is the recommended maintenance?
A. Nothing really, just be sure to exfoliate your skin on a regular basis with a sugar, sea salt scrub, loofah or exfoliating mitts. Try not to  shave in between appointments.
We also offer a product for retail to help prevent  and rid ingrown hairs.

Q. When should you reschedule another appointment?
A. Everyone's hair growth is a little different.  Because the hair grows in two different cycles, it is best to wait at least 3 to 4 weeks to ensure the best outcome.

Airbrush Tanning
Q. How does it work?
A. The DHA ingredient in the solution is what gradually darkens your skin.  It is FDA approved.  It is applied by the technician using a airbrush gun in a private room.  It is the clients preference as to what to wear.  Our establishment has a same sex technician policy for nude tanning, meaning, female technicians cannot airbrush a nude man, he must wear something.  As the DHA mixes with your amino acids you gradually darken over the next following hours.

Q. How is custom blending different from regular airbrush tanning?
A. Most airbrush tans use pre mixed color solutions.  Light, medium, dark/ Levels 1,2,3. The same as in the spray booths.  Customizing a tan means there is a base solution modified for your skin tone only.  Every individual is different, as is the PH Balance, which needs to be taken into consideration when mixing and applying a color.  Customizing a color helps to avoid that orange hue that a lot of clients end up with when getting sprayed too dark for they're natural skin tone. People with fair skin should have less amounts of DHA in they're solution compared to people who generally tan more easily.  Fairer clients can usually achieve a natural sun kissed glow and natural color, where as darker clients can achieve a deeper more brown tan.

Q. How do I prepare?
A. In the days prior to your appointment, exfoliate and moisturize your skin daily.  When scheduling remember to take into consideration the process time of your tan.  Before your appointment, shower, shave, wax and exfoliate your skin ( especially the dryer areas such as hands, feet, elbows ect...).
Do Not apply deodorant, lotion , makeup or perfume before coming in to your appointment.

Q. What do I need to do after?
A. Wear loose, dark clothing, preferably no straps.  Do not shower or have contact with water for at least 6 hours.
You will receive your Post Tan Care after your airbrush session.

Q. How long will it last?
A. The Lavish Tan solution can last anywhere from 7 to 14 days depending on your skin.  Moist skin retains the tan longer.  Tan extenders also help prolong your tan.

We highly recomend Brides book a consultation airbrush appointment at least a month prior to your wedding date if you have not been in to our establishment before.  On such a special day we want to be sure you are 100% satisfied with your outcome.

The outcome of your tan is 75% of your responsibility.  Make sure to follow the pre and post advice to help you achieve the best results possible.  Different products and chemicals can effect the way the skin reacts with and absorbs the solution.
